new music on the shelf!!!
well,these days i have been listenin to a lot of stuff tht i have nvr treid b4..........
been listenin to all kinds of rock,puddle of mudd being the latest one...but then,i thought of developin a new change of taste in music,not leavin the love for rock music behind....
the soundtrack of 21grams n the motorcycle diaries,were the first ones to be tested.....
i got these cds a month back.my dad got it for me...
i gave him a long list of books,cds n dvds,out of wich these two were included....it's been long since i saw these two films,but it had been a decade since i had been huntin for the soundtrack ..
so a month back,when my dad came down to delhi,from US,i got these two cds,along with my other demands,but cudn't spare time listenin to them,cos at tht time,i was homeless...didn't have any place to sit n listen to them, peacefully...
finally,i got my a** parked in the place where i wud be livin,if possible,for a long time......lol,n got enough amount of time to sort my things out,n ofc,listen to those cds.....n i was struck with _______i'm speechless...dn't know wat to say.....the wordless songs of both the films were really good...all the songs were brilliantly composed by this dude with a very weird name,n weirdly pronounced----gustavo santaolalla...
nvr mind the name,but both the albums were spectacular,n it's an advice to all the music lovers to try buyin n listenin to them....i'm not really sure if u can get these albums here in india,but anybody comin frm outside can easily get it...now i'm plannin to get another film's soundtrack called,"amores pares"(love's bitch),composed by the same guy with a weird enunciation....
yday,i got an another album for a trial...ZINDA(starin dutt,abraham n other two birdies..lara n celina)
the album is divided into 2cds:one is club mix n the other one is lounge....both are good,n the mixin by chinappa n another one(sry,cn't rem the name).....have done a good job..
any fan of sanjay dutt's....got a good news for u all....he has a number to his credit...listen to "kabhi muskura ke"..
but i like tht track of strings' "yeh hai meri kahani"(non remixed one) n "har sans"(again non remixed),wich has been sung by kailash kher n composed by the strings...yeah!composed by these pakistani dudes..n it's worth listenin to.....
well,thts my review on the albums tht are new to my ears,but have been added to the list of my favorites this season.....
have a gr8 xmas n new yr,with the comin of these albums.....u'll know the worth of it...the rest is on u.....hehehehehe!!
