RADIO KILLS MY SLEEPING HRS
yeah...sure it does..
today was my first day at the All India Radio(AIR)...my first day of internship after working with the Hindustan Times in Chandigarh in june 2004....
n i must confess,it was quite a borin day...the first day..
i reached there around 11..n was waitin with an another guy called Feroze who was also an internee...
both of us kept waitin either for an assignment or someone to help us find one n go out for the coverage..
alas!!nothin happ,but by the end of it,we only got more n more bored..n i even ended up sleepin in between ...many times...
while the whole radio staff were busy watchin cricket..i was busy sleepin or listenin to music(Hail!!walkman...wat wud i do without u...??????)
n then there was this guy...quite a famous one amongst his colleagues...who was quite a gasbag...n wudn't get tired of talkin n commentin on others...he went on jabberin with us..n i got pretty pissed..
in between i had my lunch n tea with feroze....
talked with tht man(the gasbag)..
slept frequently with intervals...
4pm...another guy comes up to us..n tells us to accompony him to the Congress Office...to cover the press conference wich was addressed by Abhishek Sanghvi,spokeperson of Congress..
done with tht,another issue comes up wich was also to be covered by us with the help of tht sir...
it was an issue regardin Prophet Mohammad n the comical display on him wich offended the muslim religion...
there was protest regardin this issue in Jamia Milia Islamia...wich made quite a news today in Delhi too...
imagine...700-800 students for the rally...watercannon n lathi charge was imposed on them resultin in hospitalisn few...it was sad....
quite a disgustin thing for tht comic guy to do...wat was the need to depict God or Religion in this manner...God...Goddess...religion are not comic characters....if only tht guy realised wat he was upto when makin this comical error resultin in protests...religion shud also be respected..whether u believe in it or not..
anyways...this was all tht hap today on my first day....
nthin much though....
i was really bored n sleepy...until evenin came,n i was landed with 2 assignments..
hopefully,my tomorrow truns out to be better...

Hey!! hmmm not quite the best first day... but i'm sure things should turn out to be better :) besides you'll start having fun when the gasbag kinds start gettin more amusin with their usual rants! Have fun and hope you have a good time henceforth! :p

oh..tht gasbag...i'm not interest in his upcomin amusin talk..cos today,while talkin to us bout all the rubbsih in the world..he even had the guts to talk bout his sexula feelin bout his wife..n his other desire..wich was in a way..pretty unconfortable..eventhough,the finger was not pointin twds me..cos he wanted to talk about anythin..wonder wat more amusin talk he has to share with us..

the worst part of anything is sitting,waiting and talking.
well as far as I am concerned there is no problem in depicting wrong ideas and believes,even if it concerns god.
some kill in the name of god and some in the name of democracy.some expect to go to heaven to gain Hoories and some to gain bliss there...
Hmmm.. i had a totally different picture of this gasbag! Seems he's more of a perverted gasbag who wears his dick on his tongue or something to that effect! y else wud he wanna discuss his feelings for his wife the first time he met you'll hehehe so i dint know for this internship was for an RJ.. congrats again :)

i'm embarassed...n dn't ever say tht again...nobody is "gareeb"..eveyrone is rich in their own manner...not neccessarily in terms of money..

i'm only doin an internship at AIR..nthin else..n tht too reportin n editin for the news dept..not practicsin the vocal.. no shit bout being a RJ..

hey nice attitude n beautiful words abt religion-i certainly belong 2 that school of thought...n as for the de ja vu it means u feel nostalgic abt something though u dunno y-as if u've been 2 a place before though u're seein for de first time-but i guess it aint so nemore-i actually hav a pic of my ex neighbour annie wich is quite similar 2 that-i took a snap of her in musorrie on a family trip...newayz sorry for borin u wid that-do ur assignments well...ciao!
